The No Junk Food Challenge

The No Junk Food Challenge

I have decided to start a new challenge tomorrow! It's for 21 days, so it's not forever and to me that makes it easier to stick to. I've done the no junk food thing before, but recently I've been just eating whatever. I did really good my whole pregnancy with barely any soda, and the last couple of weeks I've been so tired I have had quite a bit of it.

I have about 15 pounds left to go before getting back to pre-pregnancy weight, which isn't too bad. I think doing this challenge will really help get there, plus I've started taking walks every day and working out slowly. If you would like to see more tips I have for post partum weight loss, check out this post

So who wants to do the challenge with me!?

  1. Good for you! Ummmm 21 days starting tomorrow? Can't do it right now... but maybe sometime soon (I'm knee-deep in birthday season and I can say no to cake but not 4 times over)!

    I'll be cheering you on.

    1. Birthday cake would be too good to pass up :) I had my last "treat" I was going to eat last night but I forgot...guess I'll have to save it for 3 weeks! lol

      Have a great week :)

  2. I'll do this with you...in six weeks once I have this baby lol! But seriously, that's so awesome that you only have 15 lbs to go after JUST having the twins. I didn't lose my baby weight after my first daughter until she was about a year old. I'm thinking this time I'll lose it faster just because I'll still be running around after a toddler!

I'm sure you will lose it much faster this time, it's a lot of work having a toddler and a new baby!

    1. That's great! We for sure should help to motivate each other! Exercising every day sounds harder! I might have to do something like that in a couple of weeks though :)

  4. Great challange! I wish you much health through it. For me, once I take all the crappy food out of my system I don't tend to crave it. Kiss those 15lbs goodbye, lil mama. ;)

    1. That's a great idea! We still have some junk food in the house, I'm hoping my husband will eat it up lol. Maybe I can convince him not to buy any for awhile :)

  8. I think you will see great results! We really don't need those foods anyway. I have already been off those foods for a while and feel so much better.

  10. I'm here to say.......it can be done. I've given up most of that junk food for good and it's been about a year. I was horribly addicted to sugar and diet soda and it was making me sick. I gave it up and I feel so much better and have so much more energy now. It has taken a while, but I lost 30 pounds without dieting. Nice side-effect of simply eating better food. Thanks for sharing this at our Get Fit Friday. I hope to see you again. I will share this with my readers on my FB page. We need to get more folks to join your challenge. What a great thing to start! I am cheering you on!
